On Tuesday Casebrook's Football A Team versed Heaton A. Last time we played Heaton we lost 4-2. This time we wanted revenge.
It was a pretty even game in the first half until a howler from the Heaton keeper gave Aaron McBride an easy tap in for the first goal of the match. We started to gain momentum and had all the play. Heaton didn't even look like scoring except when their keeper hoofed the ball down field for their quick striker to run onto. But those kicks never came to anything.
In the second half we knew we needed to keep the quality from the first half to the second half. Some way into the second half we scored another goal through Haroon Zeb after a good set up. After that goal we kept looking to attack and found one more goal on the final whistle when Jackson Bond turned and volleyed it into the goal.
The final score was 3-0.
Our dominance really showed in the score line.
