John Parsons is New Zealand’s leading authority on Safeguarding children online, will deliver a cyber safety presentation to our community.
We are fortunate to have John Parsons, an Internet Safety and Risk Assessment Consultant to schools, providing specialist advice and direction on the safe use of Digital Communication Technology. We strongly recommend that you attend this informative evening. It is essential that school and families are working together in navigating the rapidly changing digital environment the young people in our care are facing today.
John will identify the specific challenges children face when using ICT. He will include guidance on behaviour management processes for parents in the practical situations they will face. This presentation is aimed at empowering parents to take responsibility for safeguarding their children. Our hope is that you will the leave the evening with the tools to support your children in how to use ICT safely and ethically at home and at school.
