The count down to our school production,"Where in the World...."begins?

Class dances are well rehearsed, costumes sorted and all is ready for our first dress rehearsal this Friday.

Thank you very much for your support in providing costumes and purchasing tickets.  There are still a few tickets left for each night so please be in as the hall does have limited seating.

The experience of being in a production, over the three nights is both very exciting as well as tiring and so we offer students the OPTION of a late start on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Formal class lessons will begin at 11:00am, immediately after interval but there will be teachers in classes from 8:20am as per on a normal school day.   The time your child starts on these days is totally your decision. If you require further clarification please contact me.

I wish to thank and congratulate all staff, this show is truely a team effort.  A  special thank you to Deb Ogilvie who has written and is directing the show.

Congratulations to Josh Rae and Matthieu Rigter for their outstanding achievements at the AIMS Games.  There are photos and details later in this newsletter.

Congratulations to Mataio Tuisaga, Rohitash Rai, Carly McClymont, Ben Camm and Leo Ormsby who attended the Canterbury Digi Awards.  They were successful winners in the following categories: Documentary, Story Telling, and Commercial Category.

Last Monday night it was great to see a number of parents experimenting in the Digitial Technologies Room.  Our young people really enjoy the challenge of sharing and teaching others.  Thank you to Shona Kelleher for organising the open evening.

Mondays ski trip was wet but all report having had an enjoyable day on the mountain.

Next week is a very big week for Casebrook and so thank you in advance for your support.  It has been a busy term that seems to have passed quickly.

We wish you all a safe and restful term break.

Regards
