Message from the Principal

Welcome to Term 2, it is looking to be another busy one with many exciting activities.

We welcome back Mrs Shona Kelleher.  Shona is our Visual Arts teacher and is managing our ICT development. We look forward to making progress with Google classrooms, class blogs and individual student ePortfolios.

During the break the BOT Chairperson, Mr Rhys Williams organised a working bee to paint the Technology block. The external paint was very old and tired and we needed it freshened up until the area is remodelled. A number of BOT members and parents assisted and we thank them all,  we were very fortunate that Luke Roberts who owns the painting firm, "Project Perfection" donated the time of his painting gang. It would have been slow progress without them. Your generosity was very much appreciated.

During Week 10 we have a group of 50 students travelling to Queenstown to perform during the Winter Festival. This is an amazing opportunity and we thank Mr Brad Meads and Miss Lydia Muschamp for making it possible. The group will include the Orchestra, a selection of Specialist Dancers and Casebrook Singers.

On Friday at 1:30pm we are holding a special ANZAC assembly to commemorate the centenary of the ANZAC'S landing on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. You are very welcome to join us.

Please remember that if you have any concerns or question do not hesitate to contact me.

Enjoy the term.

Regards

Sharon Keen
