We look forward to a term of student engagement in a wide range of activities both inside and outside of the classroom.

The term has had a great start with students eager to return after a  well deserved break.  We will be encouraging all to have a go at new sports and activities, even if it means moving outside of their comfort zone.  We ask that you also encourage them at home.

A reminder that it is now time to be dressed in winter uniform.  There is no change in our boys uniform but for the girls they should have black tights or knee high socks.  The school jacket can be worn at all times but we ask that puffer jackets are removed when entering the classroom.  If you have any questions please refer to our website or contact the school office.

During the next few weeks classes will begin training for the school Cross Country.  Training will generally involved laps of the school field with each individual recording the distances they run.  We encourage all students to take an active part, however if this is not possible for medical reasons please contact the classroom teacher.

Please book an interview time with your class teacher.  Details are contained later in this newsletter.  It is very important you attend as this is an opportunity for discuss future goals and aspirations, as well as looking at how the year has started. We ask that you have your child with you as the goals need to owned by them.

If at any time you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the classroom teacher or myself.  Problems are easily solved if we all know about them and intervene early.

We look forward to seeing you all at the interviews and up coming events that are outlined in the term calendar.

We hope all have an enjoyable and successful Term two.
