Football A Team Review

By Mr Pitt | Posted: Tuesday June 21, 2016

On Tuesday 21st the Hagley Football A team played against Cobham D and we made good on our promise to ourselves to win and win well.

We were hungry for our first win of the season and had to make a few adjustments to the team due to injuries. After successive mishaps this term we found ourselves in the newly adjusted leagues at a slightly lower level. We knew we’d be in for a chance but no one predicted the stunning outcome of this game. At half-time we had accumulated four goals, and seeing our hunger for the game Mr Pitt promised a round of pizza if we netted 10 by the end of the it.  So we returned to the field for the second half and gave our all.  Our players had great games all round.  We displayed excellent passing, accurate goal scoring and we all adapted well to the new positions. We saw a great game from Thomas, who stepped up from the B's to fill a space, earning him Man Of The Match.  Hopefully we can pull off another great win next week.
