CAPA go to Hairspray

Students involved in CAPA (Casebrook Academy of Performing Arts) were given the opportunity to experience Hairspray.

On Saturday June 18th CAPA students attended The Isaac Theatre Royal for a matinee performance of the popular Broadway musical, Hairspray, presented by Showbiz Christchurch. The music, the singing and the dancing made the students watch in awe and had them joining in with song. It was an enjoyable experience for all who attended and the catchy songs have been stuck in their heads ever since!

The next project for CAPA will involve teaching primary aged students different theatre sports games to encourage creative and abstract thinking.
