AIMS Games - Basketball

At the end of last term the Casebrook Boys A and Girls A Basketball teams traveled to Tauranga to compete in the AIMS Games.

All the teachers that went were very proud of the girls and boys that represented Casebrook. Also a big thank you to Paul for coaching the Boys A team.

Cooper and Manaia were both part of the teams that went to the AIMS Games. We caught up with them and asked them a few questions about their experience.

How did your games go?

Cooper said the games went pretty good. We started off not so good because it was the first game together in a while.

How many games did you play?

Cooper said the boys team played 7 games and the girls played 6 games.

Did you place anywhere?

Cooper said they placed top 23 out of 64 and the girls placed 13th out of 27 teams.

How was your experience?

Manaia said It was a good experience we had heaps of fun.

Did you have a good time at AIMS Games?

Manaia said she had a great time and has a lot of good memories from the trip.


Overall everyone had a great time at AIMS and said they would love to go again!
