Congratulations to the A team for taking home the top spot in the last game of the season against, of all the teams, our Casebrook B Team!

After a cracking start to the season the team were shown a trick or two by the top league teams and humbly accepted a relegation to the next league. This created a space for displaying exciting and dominant football. The boys shared the workload well and built on their growing confidence to not lose a game and moreover score brace after brace.  One game exceeding 10 goals.

Special mention must be made of the captain, Luke Carville and vice captain, Ben McClennan who shared the responsibility for planning the formations and seeing through a vision of how the team should press their opponents. The all round contributions were excellent and the team became increasingly competent at some of the key skills in the game such as communicating clearly and covering for one another.

Congratulations to Calib Bone for being awarded the player of the season, his energy, commitment to listening to advice and perseverance gave the team a decisive edge.

Congratulations to the B team to who made worthy opponents in the final and were deserved runners up in the league. Check out the photos below for a glimpse of the final game.

Finally thanks to all the Year 8 students for all the energy and passion they have put in to their football whilst with us, we wish you all the best with your future footballing. Year 7's, we look forward to carrying on our success at the school next year.
