We interviewed Year 8 teacher, Miss Charlotte Rennie from Room 11, about her time at Casebrook so far, her past as a teacher, and some of her favourite things.

Miss Rennie has enjoyed her time so far, and it is very different from her old school she used to teach at. She has been teaching for four years, and taught at St Joseph’s in Temuka for the past three years. Miss Rennie became a teacher because she loved working with kids.

Miss Rennie decided to become a teacher when she was 26, but before that she wanted to own a lolly shop. Miss Rennie’s most memorable achievement is getting a job at Casebrook.

Some of her interests include sport, football, cooking, tramping, and photography. Miss Rennie’s favourite animal is an orangutan. Her favourite song is Wagon Wheel, and she likes any song she can dance to.

She said it was cool to have her own classroom and already know a bit about Casebrook, as she was a student teacher here five years ago.
