Casebrook Students excel in Sports, Music and Cultural events.

During the past two weeks our students have shone in a wide range of events.

We have had the Girls A Basketball Team achieve second place in the Friday night competition, the opposition scored in the last 20 seconds! A great effort and thank you to Miss Courtney Bull and Mr Sunia Halaifonua for their coaching and organisation.

Three Casebrook bands performed on Saturday night, a professional performance from all, even with the unreliable sound system.  I look forward to watching them on "The Voice" or "New Zealand's Got Talent" in the not too distant future. Thank you to our music tutors and in particularly Mr Steve Fowler.

The Kapa Haka group, Korean dancers and Pasifika group performed in the Christchurch Cultural Festival.  For the first time we had the three groups on stage as one and opened the Thursday night show.  Thank you to staff and tutors, another great performance.

This years school production, "Summer Camp," is going to be a wonderful event.  Thank you very much to those who have purchased tickets and if you have yet to do so please get in quickly to avoid disappointment. It is less than two weeks to show time.

Please take note of the show notices later in this newsletter.  During show week students will have the option of late starts, however please note school will be open normal hours we just wish to avoid our young people becoming too tired with the late nights.

If you have friends or neighbours thinking about sending a child to Casebrook next year please encourage them to contact us.  Enrolments for 2017 are strong.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards
