REP Focus - Respecting Our Driveway and Crossings.

By Genevieve Feron | Posted: Tuesday July 21, 2020

For weeks one and two, Casebrook students will be revisiting the expectations for using the driveway and crossings to ensure everyone is kept safe and sound!

Casebrook Intermediate's driveway and crossings are a busy place to be! Over the next two weeks, students will be looking at how we demonstrate REP from a safety perspective.

Driveway:

If walking, students should:

1. Use the gate on the footpath (not the driveway).

2. Stay on the footpath.

3. Avoid the field during winter terms.

When using a bike or scooter, students should:

1. Dismount when entering the front gate

2. Use the left-hand side of the driveway (in between the yellow lines and the footpath).

3. Dismounting again at the RTLB cluster office.

4. Walk your bike or scooter to the compound.

5. Lock the bike or scooter.

If you are dropping your child off, please do so outside of the school gates.

Road Patrol Crossings:

We're really lucky to have a number of responsible students as part of our road patrol team who are supervised by a staff member. Students should use these and listen to the instructions given by the road patrollers when crossing.

Staff have their eyes peeled and REP cards ready for students demonstrating REP on the driveway and crossings.
