Matchday 2 - v Breens

It was matchday 2 for the Casebrook Wanderers as they walked confidently onto the pitch, ready for their game against Breens. Casebrook got off to a good start, and soon after kickoff, Archie passed to Leon who opened the scoring.

Soon after that, we scored the second goal after a great assist! After a few more minutes of hard playing, we slotted one home to make it 3-0! As the whistle went for half time, the Wanderers jogged off the pitch. Coach Dan, gave them some words of motivation. After the Casebrook players had reflected on their lead, they made their way onto the pitch to finish the game they had started. Soon after the whistle, Breens took the ball and got one back. 3-1. But the Wanderers were not discouraged. They smashed two more into the back of the net.

There was only ten minutes left to go and Casebrook were still playing strong. Another goal looked to be the last, but in the last minute, Lincoln took the ball and went on a run. He was looking to score, but he lost the ball, which went to Leon, who booted it into the bottom corner for a hat-trick.

The Wanderers went home, still unbeaten.
