Recently the Casebrook canteen moved to a temporary location behind Rooms 7 and 8.

A whole new canteen build is happening in the hall presently. This will be located on the opposite side of the hall to where the old canteen was.

“The new canteen is going to look nice and modern. It will be easier for canteen workers to use since there’s going to be more space for them to move around. It will also be easier for students to order food because they can line up outside rather than inside the hall. Dance groups and other activities will be able to use the hall without any distractions,” Mr Stribling, our Assistant Principal said.

So far people are finding the temporary canteen easy to work with but there are some limitations.

“There are no ovens so I can't cook as much,” Mrs Mac the canteen wonderwoman said. “It is very spacious however. I also like having the sliding window to serve students with their orders.”

“It's okay but I like the other one better. There is not much to sell and there is no oven!” Lucy Pratley a canteen worker stated.

“There is no food for me to order!” Jay Tan announced.

Everyone is excited for the opening of the new canteen. The new canteen should be completed and available for students to use by the beginning of next year. It’s going to be amazing!
