Last weekend, Miss Mckenzie participated in the F45 Christchurch Challenge. Below are some questions that Will and I have asked her about the struggles and accomplishments.

What was the competition that you competed in?

I was in a team of 4 people that competed in an F45 interclub challenge, representing F45 Papanui. We were up against teams from F45 Rangiora and F45 Christchurch City. The competition included 3 different rounds including 4 different exercises each round. The first round was based on who could do the most exercises and the last round was based on time.

*How hard on a scale of 1-10 was this event?

10, it was pretty hard!!

*If you could do it again, would you?

Not anytime soon!

*What was the hardest part for you?

The hardest part was the amount of time you had to do the exercises for! It felt like it went on forever with some of them.

*Is there anything that you wish you could have done differently?

Be a bit fitter!

*Who were your partners?

My teammates were super fit! I was in a team with Mike, Anita and Nathan.

*What place did you finish in?

The Papanui club placed first overall so we were stoked!

*Were you nervous about it?

Yes as I had no idea what I was in for. This was my first time!

*What kind of training did you do, leading up to your event?

No training as such, just attending gym classes so we knew some of the exercises already!
