I would like to thank and congratulate all the staff that have been involved and made these Education Outside the Classroom experiences happen. Also thank you to all parents and whanau who have accompanied the trips. We can not do it without your support.

During the next two weeks, we will be introducing all of our additional extension and enrichment activities.  Please assist your child by checking the school notices at the beginning of the week or at night so they can be prepared for what is coming up. This is particularly important for our Year 7  students.

This term, across the schools in our Kāhui Ako, we are having a focus on student attendance and punctuality.  The Ministry of Education defines regular school attendance as being present at school for 90% of the year or more. However, even if a student attends 90% of the time, they will have missed the equivalent of an entire year of schooling by age 16.  If you require assistance around your child's attendance, please contact us.  We are working closely with our local Youth Workers from PYDT.

Thank you to all parents and whanau who have attended Meet the Teacher evenings over the last two weeks.  We believe a close connection between home and school is more important than ever as our young people begin to develop into young adults.

If at any time you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
