Ki o Rahi (Traditional Maori Game) Tournament at Burnside High School

By Sunia Halaifonua | Posted: Tuesday November 8, 2016

On Thursday the 27th of September a group of seventeen students competed against other schools in Ki o Rahi at Burnside High School.

Both the A and B teams did an outstanding job. They all worked well together and played hard. The whole day was a great day, everyone had fun and the students were fantastic.

A special mention to Kate Taylor and Isaac Cowper who won a prize for great sportsmanship.

Thank you to Mr Halaifonua and Tatiana Moana who were able to take the teams to the grounds and supervise the students, it was appreciated.
