Motivationz Netball and Rugby Holiday Programme is back this April

Motivationz Netball and Rugby are running a holiday programme. This will be great to compliment your club/school training and help you improve your skills as a player.

Age Group:
Netball: school year 5/6 and 7/8,

Rugby: 7-8, 9-10 year olds
Location: Graham Condon Centre 3 Sisson Drive
Dates: 3 sessions 19th, 20th and 21st April
Time: 12.30-2.30pm
Cost: $100

Community Facilitator Role at Belfast Community Network

The Belfast Community Network (BCN) is a well-established Community Development organisation with 20 years of service to our local Belfast community. We are passionate about what we do here and pride ourselves on the outstanding service we provide to Belfast and further afield. We are also strongly committed to working collaboratively with our local and wider community.

An exciting opportunity has opened for a new position at the BCN. The role is for a Community Facilitator, who will support the BCN to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships within our community and work with individuals and whanau to support them in their everyday life. You will work closely alongside our amazing team who deliver OSCAR Programmes, aged care support, community events along with a supportive management team and a Board who lets us dream and have a go! The position is for 30 hours per week and is flexible around how you manage your mahi, as community work can be outside of the normal 9 to 5 hours. Applications close 6 April 2021.

The digital world is here to stay. We will discuss the role technology has in our daily lives and the implications this has for our children. During the workshop we will ask challenging questions of you. Are your children safe in the online world? Do you know what sites your children visit and who they are online with? How much digital time is too much? We will also provide some suggestions to try at home to help get the balance right - helping to ensure the well-being of your children. Hapori Conference 2021 - tickets are now available!

The NorthWest Collective have listened to the feedback from our last conference in 2019 and wish to present to you Hapori 2021. Hapori will again be held at McFaddens Centre on:

Time: 8.30am-5.00pm

Hapori is aimed at those in leadership or management positions in grass-roots, small to medium community organisations. We heard you say you wanted more networking so we have worked that into the schedule along with the most popular topics you said you were interested in hearing about from the survey we sent out last year. Attached is the programme and you can also go to our website for more information. Tickets are available here via Humanitix and are limited to 100 people so it may pay to be in quick. Tickets are $40 per person or $100 for 3 tickets from the same organisation. You can keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

· NZ Diploma in IT Technical Support – Level 5. A one-year programme. Gain skills in computer systems, application and system software, network support and configuration in a NZ IT environment.

Papanui Baptist Freedom Trust - Social English programme

Are you learning English as a second language? Join us for speaking and listening practice in English. We talk about daily situations, such as: shopping, hobbies, and making appointments. All levels are welcome! Have coffee and practice your conversation with us! Children are welcome to come along with parents/caregivers.
