The teachers union (NZEI) has called a paid union meeting on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
The NZEI is entitled to do so under the Employment Relations Act 2000. As all teachers are expected to attend this meeting, we ask that you make alternative arrangements for your child from 1:00pm. If required, there will be a very small number of non-union staff members to supervise students at school, but there will be no formal instruction. The canteen will not be open at lunchtime, only at interval.
Please complete the attached form and return prior to Monday 21 June 2021, if you would like your child supervised at school.
