On the 5th of August, Casebrook Intermediate School took a group of 80 students to Mt Hutt for the first of three annual ski trips!

And so I, and Ava Moir, interviewed one of my local classmates that went on Casebook’s trip, Ismae Hill!

How did you find the ski trip?

“Interesting.” She said. “Very Interesting, I was very surprised to see how many kids were in the: ‘First Time On Snow’ Group, around like, 70 of 80 kids! Then, around 8 kids on level 2 and 3, then 2 of us, me and one of my classmates Simon, were the only people on level 4 and 5!” Also, with around an hour and 45 minutes drive there and back, yes, I say it was interesting.”

What did you do when you got there?

“Well, we all had our around 2-hour lesson at the start, I had a teacher named David, he was very nice and taught me how to ski backwards!”

How was the bus ride?

“Long, but it was fun, hanging out with my friends that had come with the rest of us, making new friends, and looking at the views.”

Was the food there good?!

“It was tasty. I got a pot of hot chips, and M’n’Ms”

Would you go again?

“Yes, I would love to go again!”

We have our second trip heading away Thursday the 12th of August, and our third on the 20th of September. We hope they have as much fun as us!
