Casebrook Lockdown Reflection

By Ben Fraser, Michael Maat & Kody McMillan | Posted: Tuesday September 14, 2021

This week we asked the participants for their thoughts on their lockdown (we have even got an exclusive interview with Mrs Keen) and here they are.

We started the interview with Emma from Room 1.

Are you happy to be back at school?

Kind of but I would like it more if we did online learning.

What was your favourite game to play in lockdown?

I like to play charades with my family so I can win and I like winning.

We also asked Drew from Room 1 a few questions about lockdown.

Did you like online learning more or would you have liked to do face to face learning?

I liked online learning better because I don't like face to face learning that much.

How did you find online learning?

It is very manageable to complete my online work.

We have interviewed Jodie from Room 12:

Do you enjoying attending the Google Meets with your class?

Yes, the google meets are very fun!

We had Devon from Room 12 give his opinion about lockdown.

Were you desperate for a takeaway? The answer was shocking...

NO, I was fine without them.

Did you watch the Covid Announcements?

No I was too busy doing homework.

And now the moment you’ve been waiting for the exclusive interview with…Mrs Keen!

Feast your eyes upon our Q and A with Mrs Keen.

How did you celebrate Fathers Day?

I did a video call with one of my sons in London and one of them in Auckland.

Did you eat healthier during lockdown?

Sometimes I did but I think I ate a bit too many potato chips and chocolate.

It was great to get insight from both staff and students on how they felt during lockdown. Let's hope this is the last one!
