School Relays

On Tuesday Casebrook Intermediate had relay races, there were mixed races, boy races, and girl races. The last one was staff vs students. I thought that the teachers would win but surprisingly the students won! 

I got to be in the mixed team. I tried my best in the race but I don’t think people were cheering for my class. Room 12 didn’t come first but it’s not anybody's fault. I think it was good that we at least tried. I was really nervous when the race started but also excited at the same time. 

I enjoyed watching the staff vs student race because both of them were pretty good. While we were watching some people were collecting grass and they made mountains out of it. I was very happy that I got chosen to be in the race but I forgot to bring my P.E uniform and I was scared that people might think “Oh he’s wearing his school uniform.’’ 

In my opinion I think that Room five or six were the fastest. After the race, even though I just ran a little I was really sweaty and thirsty. I think that I was pretty fast at the start and got a little slower near the end.

Year 7 boys: Room 6

Year 7 girls: Room 14

Year 7 mixed: Room 5

Year 8 boys: Room 2

Year 8 girls: Room 3

Year 8 mixed: Room 2
