Peer Support

Check out our new Peer Support programme at Casebrook!

Peer Support is an extracurricular motivation program offered to year seven students with a year eight support person. Students are given support with their learning and behaviour.

In peer support, students engage in fun activities each week. Their mentor joins their buddy in their class to support their learning during the period. After the learning session we then spend 10 -15 minutes getting to know each other and socialising, some of us choose basketball or play something outside.

Peer support helps students with social skills, learning, and friendships. The mentors want students to have the best experience at Casebrook.

Mr Foster is the big boss of this programme. He chose a handful of year eights to help him with guiding the year sevens. Mr Foster organises everything and plans all of the fun stuff ahead for the year sevens. Some things we have ahead include making pizzas and dodgeball! Thank you for organising the peer support and thank you to those students involved.
