On the second to last week of Term One, Room 20 went on an epic trip to Papanui Bush. They were there to plant trees to help the environment as well as educational purposes.

We interviewed Ryan Loader about the trip.

He told us that he found the trip fun and interesting.

Ryan told us the class walked from Casebrook to Papanui Bush. Once they had arrived, they started planting an impressive amount of native trees for roughly an hour. While they were planting trees, they saw some wildlife such as birds, and he also described the scenery as luscious and green. Room 20 was the only class to go from Casebrook and they were the only people there at the time.

Ryan said that he found the trip fun and enlightening and would go again.
