Drawing and Sketching Club

The first meeting of the Drawing and Sketching Club, started by student Maggie Wilson of Room 1, met yesterday during lunch and went really well with 14 students attending.

"I really enjoy drawing and knew other students would appreciate a warm place to share ideas and draw." said Maggie.

There was some excited chatter as the students got straight into sketching their different ideas.

Some student comments from yesterdays session:

• "I came for a chance to draw at school." - Paige
• "To see other peoples styles and techniques." - Peyton
• "I have a passion for drawing." - Ash
• "To try to learn how to do other stuff." - Sienna
• "To improve my skills." - Alexis

At the end of the lunch break they all took the chance to to walk around and admire each others work.  Everyone is keen to attend again next Wednesday, well done with your idea Maggie!
