Seesaw Family

Get connected to Seesaw and have your child's work delivered to your device.

While some of you will be familiar with the app or website, ‘Seesaw’, we are aware that many of you are not. Seesaw is a piece of software that we use to upload your child’s work for you to see and comment on. It gives you an instant look at what is being done at school rather than having to rely on your child to find out what they are up to. We are well aware that when asked what they did at school today, many intermediate aged children just say, ‘Oh, nothing’. With Seesaw you have the opportunity to witness first hand the fact that the teachers don’t spend all day drinking coffee in the staff room while the students play outside!

Each classroom approach to Seesaw is different and it will be used in the way it works best for those students. At a minimum you could expect to see something from each subject area once each academic term. Some of it will be ‘best work’, while some may be ‘work in progress’ or a ‘first attempt.’ Some work will have teacher comments and others may not. You will also be able to see posts from your child’s technology or specialist classes as well.

Seesaw will give you a window into what is happening at school. You can rest assured that no-one else is looking in that window as everyone can only see their own child’s work and the teacher needs to approve your request when you first sign up and click the link.

If you have any questions about its use in your child’s class, don’t hesitate to ask their teacher.

If you follow the link below it will take you to the Seesaw area on our website where you can follow the instructions to get connected.
