Internet Health and Wellbeing with John Parsons - Cyber safety expert

We recently informed our community of the challenges we have faced with the amount of anti-social and harmful social media use by our young people. We have engaged with NZ cyber safety expert, John Parsons to help better inform our staff, students and parents, caregivers and whānau.

We will be hosting John Parsons in a parent workshop/info evening for our Casebrook community on July 7th at 6.30pm.

John is a leading expert on Cyber Safety and Internet wellbeing in New Zealand.

This workshop will be hosted on zoom which means you can join us from the comfort of your home. 

Parent/Guardian Workshop: 

Raising Resilient Capable Children

  • Identifies the specific challenges children face when using ICT
  • Includes guidance on behaviour management processes for parents in the practical situations they will face
  • This workshop empowers parents to take responsibility for safeguarding their children
  • Parents leave with the tools to support their children in how to use ICT safely and ethically at home and at school
