Science Extension

Miss Kennedy works with a small group of students on a Wednesday afternoon for science extension.

The Wonder Project has been the major focus in Science Extension during the eight weeks the group has been working together.

The learning behind this project is around friction, aerodynamics and making adaptations and improvements on their rocket. The students created a rocket that would hopefully be able to get into the air.

Once each group had completed their final rocket, it was placed onto a base filled with water, on to the air pump. The rocket was pumped full of air until it reached 60psi.

At 60psi the release button was hit and they had BLAST OFF!
