A financial literacy programme called ASB GetWise encourages kids to manage their money confidently.

ASB GetWise was introduced in 2010. This programme is meant to help intermediate school kids to be comfortable handling money. These abilities will allow us to accomplish our goals as well as helping us to learn about having a stable financial future. It is entirely free for schools to participate in the sessions that are available.

Kindly, Jeff from GetWise gave each class an opportunity to learn how to safely take care of their money. We learned about budgeting and how your influencers can affect how you spend your money. This has all been taught to all classes across two sessions. There are lots of ways to make learning fun and GetWise does well to make things fun for the audience.

In these workshops we had to make sensible choices with the money we received. We were given items that you need to buy and each item has 3 or 4 choices. Each choice had different prices so we have to choose if we want to be cooler or smarter.
