Casebrook welcomed Jake Bailey who spoke to Y7 and Y8 students about resilience.
On Monday the 20th of March 2023 Jake, a former Boys High student, came to Casebrook Intermediate to talk to staff, parents and the Year 7 and 8 students about resilience. He used his experience with fighting cancer to teach students about the importance of having resilience as you go through life.
A few take aways from Jake's presentation are how it is important to find the positives in bad situations, how slowing down and breaking things down into small, manageable tasks is helpful and that we need to lean on others for support.
