Canterbury Society of Model and Experimental Engineers(CSMEE)- Halswell trains.

By Sam Hicks | Posted: Monday March 6, 2017

In 1933 a group of enthusiasts started the club in a tiny Garage on Whiteleigh Ave. Today the club’s site has two tracks, one of which has three tunnels, a road crossing, a forest and a bridge. There are a range of trains to ride, including steam, electric and diesel trains - my personal favourite is the steam!

The CSMEE Train Station at the Halswell Domain is a great place to visit if you have a spare Sunday afternoon.

Open every Sunday from 1pm until 4pm.

Train rides cost $2 each.

Free parking alongside the track.

Come and check it out.

I Look Forward to seeing you there!
