Casebrook has a new exciting 'Digi Space'

A  development in our specialist teacher programme has resulted in the creation of a 'Digi Space".  Mrs Shona Kelleher has been the driving force behind this and is now offering our students experiences in Coding, Robotics, 3D Printing and Animation.  Students find the learning both challenging and enjoyable.

For the past week we have had a group of students visiting from Kamahshi, in Japan.  This has been a particularly interesting experience for both schools as they have been able to share their stories around earthquakes and the recovery process.  Thank you very much to the families who have hosted them.

As we await the refurbishment of our classrooms we have limited spaces suitable for our students to change from their PE gear to uniform.  To ease the situation we have decided to trial, until the end of this term, allowing students to go home in PE gear any day of the week. They must be in complete PE uniform and at the beginning of the day they are still expected to arrive in correct school uniform.

Friday week, March 31,  is a mufti day and we ask students to donate chocolate for the PTA Easter Raffle.  We encourage you to sell as many raffle tickets as possible because it is both a great fund raising initiative and the prize hampers are impressive.

On April 11 and 12 we offer you the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their achievements and look at goals for the year.  Please refer to the information later in this newsletter where you will find how to make your online booking. We encourage you to attend as the home - school connection assists with successful learning. You are welcome to bring your child with you.

On Thursday 13 April we host the End of Term Celebration Assembly. This is a time where student receive their Gold Casebrook Challenge badge and we reflect on the terms achievements.  Please join us if you are able.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please contact me or the classroom teacher .
