We were very honoured to be given the opportunity for our Kapa Haka to open last weeks conference. We were all incredibly proud of them and thank Matua Willie, Whaea Tania, Mr Dan Leys and many other staff members for their support in preparing the group and getting them to the venue for an early start.
Thank you to staff, students and our wonderfully supportive community for a great start to 2017. We
thank Mr John McBride for his work with Room 7 and hope to see John
back relieving as he continues his studies. Mrs Sarah Austin will be
returning to Room 7. Welcome back Sarah.
Thank you to Kevin Truman and Vic Sword who have run the Visual Art programme and made a fine job of it. Mr Richard Larsen will be in the Art Room next term.
A large team of students competed in the Inter Intermediate swimming sports. Many results to be proud of. Thank you Emily Mordue for your excellent organisation. Our first Celebration Assembly was today. Thank you to all who were able to attend and congratulations to all our students who put in the hard work and achieved Gold. Well done.
Have a safe and enjoyable holiday break and we look forward to continuing to work together next term.
