Matthieu Rigter from Room 8 recounts his success at two recent competitions.
In the school holidays I completed in two dance competitions.
In my first competition I achieved 2nd place, which I was very happy about. The competition was five days long and on the last day there was the big prize-giving. At the prize-giving I also received a second trophy for being the most promising male dancer of the whole five-day competition!
The second competition was for jazz dancing. I competed in the Novice Jazz 12+ category and did incredibly well. So well in fact that I was able to win my category to receive another trophy.
Overall, I was ecstatic about the results I achieved and I can’t wait for my next competition!
