Casebrook REP promotes a safe and supportive learning environment for all Students

This week is Bully-Free Week, a time for all of us to make an extra to effort ensure the safety and well being of those we live and work with.

The Casebrook School culture has been developed over the past years around the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning Programme (PB4L).  This has involved students upholding our three core values of Respect (Whakaute), Excellence (Panekiretanga) and Perseverance(Hiringa) making up our Casebrook REP.

Students have lessons about what each of these values look like in the school environment during normal daily activities, such as using the cloak bays or the bike stands plus this year we have entered Tier Two of the programme and now lessons focus on the use of the values inside the classroom.

It is very important to us that our students enter our grounds and feel safe and supported so they can focus on their learning.

Friday is a Pink Shirt mufti day and we will donate all proceedings to Kiwi Protections.

Year 7 swimming finishes this week and we will be seeking feedback from parents and students into the value of the programme.

I trust the term is progressing well for you.  Remember to regularly complete some Casebrook Challenge activities to avoid the end of term rush.

As always if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.
