On Tuesday 22nd August classroom teams took part in our annual Casebrook Cantamath Competition
Each class entered one team of 4 able-mathematicians to take part in the competition. Teams had thirty minutes to answer 20 questions, with each correct question scoring 5 points for the team. The questions were challenging and covered all areas of mathematics.
The final results were:
Year 7: 1st - Rm 8 (65 points), 2nd - Rm 9 (60 points), 3rd equal - Rm 3, Rm 7 & Rm 10 (40 points)
Year 8: 1st - Rm 1 (75 points), 2nd equal - Rm 2 & Rm 5 (55 points), 3rd - Rm 12 (50 points)
Well done to everyone that took part and represented their class with excellence and perseverance!
