Korean, Pasifika and Kapa Haka groups performing at the Cultural Festival 2017.

Our three cultural groups performed at this year's  2017 Cultural Festival on Tuesday 15th August .

We were given 13 minutes for our performance and we started with a fan/drum Korean dance. This was  followed by a Samoan Siva dance. To conclude our Kapa Haka performed three items finishing with a  blistering girl's haka. Our girls gave it their all with our leaders losing their voices. There was such contrasts between the three groups but so complimentary,  a true melting pot.

Our students demonstrated REPs and were great ambassadors of our school.

A huge thank you to all the teachers involved Dan Leys, Courtney Bull, Edan Foster, Mark Russell and Mrs Keen.

A special thank you to Whaea Tania, Matua Willi, Judy Yun and Anna Tulia our group tutors.

Here is the link to watch our performance at the Cultural Festival.

More photos on the night

We still have some costumes outstanding from students that went home with parents on the night, can you please check at home and get them returned to school as soon as possible.
