Meg Lancaster - Sir Peter Blake Young Leader Award

By Sharon Keen | Posted: Tuesday June 30, 2015

Congratulations to Meg for winning the Sir Peter Blake award for her involvement and leadership in a wide range of activities. Meg is a fine example of a Casebrook REP and we are all very proud of her achievements.

The groups who performed at the Queenstown Winter Festival had a fantastic experience, even in the minus temperatures.  The following are two snippets from letters sent by parents who accompanied the group.

"The synergy of the group was impressive. Brad's vision has created a lifetime memory for the children." CB

"I have helped on many class trips and camps, both as a teacher and a parent.  This was easily the best trip I have been on." LL

Congratulations and thank you to all the students involved, the parent helpers and the staff, Brad Meads, Lydia Muschamp and Rachael Cooper.

The Casebrook Student Council have been very active this term organising the Mud Run, Lip Sync and a Basketball competition. Thank you to all involved, this is a great example of students developing self management and organisational skills.

Week One, Term Three is our Student Led Conferences.  Please ensure you have booked a time to meet with the teacher.  This is a fantastic opportunity to discuss your child's learning with them.

In Week Two, on Wednesday July 29 we have our Open Night.  Please let people know the date and invite them, particularly if they currently have a child in Year 6 and are exploring options for 2016. Further information will be available next term.

Tomorrow afternoon we have our Term Two celebration assembly.  This is where we recognise the students who have achieved Gold in the Casebrook Challenge. You are very welcome to join us.

Thank you for your ongoing support during the term. Have a safe and happy break.

Regards
