Tama Tu, Tama Ora

Tama tu, tama ora is a programme run by Mr McBride that helps kids who need assistance with reading and writing and it helps them in a fun learning environment. 

There are 40 children that attend Tama Tu and and 20 take part in it per term. We interviewed one of the students who is a part of the Tama tu group, his name is Hanana Nikora.

Qn 1: Do you like Tama tu, tama ora? Explain why:

Ans 1: Yes because we get to play lots of sports and do learning.

Qn 2: Is Tama tu a good learning space?

Ans 2: Yes because it’s a fun way to learn

Qn 3: Is Tama tu a good way to make new friends?

Ans 3: Sometimes but not everyone gets along with each other

Qn 4: Please tell us about the sports or things you learn:

Ans 4: We learn about things like rugby stars and how to change a car tyre as well as making game tutorials.

All of the students were specifically selected for this programme and every student is enjoying their time at Tama tu, tama ora.
