Well done to all the people that entered the recent Digi Awards Competition - especially to Felix Halford and Ethan Adams for coming 1st place and Daniel Hann for coming 3rd place.

The games Daniel Hann, Felix Halford and Ethan Adams made were called: ‘Hearts’ created on ROBLOX by Daniel, and ‘Picaso Helps The Poor’ by Felix and Ethan.

We interviewed Daniel and asked him the following questions:

Qn 1: How did you make your game?

Ans 1: I used a programming site called Lua and that site makes games for ROBLOX.

Qn 2: What do you do in your game?

Ans 2: You start on a footpath and you can go into different shops and you can talk to other people on the footpath. But the purpose of the game is that you have to help the homeless and you can receive hearts that way.

Qn 3: What did you feel like when you were creating your game and when you were giving it to the judges to be judged?

Ans 3: When I was creating the game I was wondering if I could actually finish it in time and when it was being judged I was just relieved it was all done!

Qn 4: Why did you decide to enter the competition?

Ans 4: Mrs Kelleher actually asked me if I would like to make a game for the competition.

Qn 5: How does your game work?

Ans 5: I had to type all of the code instead of using building blocks on Scratch (a coding website). I am the only one that can use Lua in the whole school.
