Aotearoa Bandstand was a Wonderful Success

Thank you to all who attended our show during the last week of Term 3, it was an amazing experience for all our students and a true example of what can be achieved when we all work together.

Welcome back to Term 4.  This is a term that always passes quickly.  We have a number of sporting events, our S.T.E.A.M.+ evenings (look for more information in this newsletter), a musical evening and finishing with the School day out to Hanmer, the Year 8 leavers function, celebration assemblies and Prize Giving.  Dates are available on the term calendar.

This week we had our Term Three Casebrook Challenge celebration assembly.  The number of students who achieved Gold was impressive considering it was such a busy term.  Thank you to those who attended the assembly and congratulations to the students who achieved Gold.

The middle block of classrooms has been fenced off ready for refurbishment.  It makes it a little difficult moving around the school but we trust the end results will make it worth while.

Students going on our Intrepid Studies camp to Mount Cook left on Tuesday.  Reports to date indicate they are having a wonderful time and the weather has been kind to them.  They are due back Friday afternoon.

Enrolments for 2018 are tracking very well.  If you know of someone who intends to send their child to us next year and is yet to enrol can you please encourage them to do so as we have entrance interviews next month and are starting to look at our organisation.

I trust the term will be a successful one for your child.  If you have any questions around transition into 2018 please contact Mr Mark Russell.

Thank you for your on going support.  As I often say, education works best when there is a close home and school relationship.

Regards
