On the 27th-29th October, the Water Polo A and B teams went down to Dunedin for the South Island Water Polo tournament. They travelled down by car, which took around 4 hours. The A team received a very good outcome, coming 2nd out of 14 teams. Well done the A team. The B team also had a fantastic outcome coming 5th out of 8 teams.
The tournament was on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The games were 20 minutes each and we had a warm up as well. We played five games and won three of them, putting us, the B team, in 5th place out of 8. My favourite part was probably winning three games. Two years ago was the first time the B team scored in a game. Last year the B team won 1 game, which was a record. This year we won three. - Bronte Perriam
All the water polo teams did very well and it was such a great experience for all of them.
