Mt Cook Camp

In the first week of Term 4 some students had the opportunity to travel to Mt. Cook with Mr Halaifonua and Miss Mordue.

They spent three nights and four action packed days at Glentanner Holiday Park with a beautiful backdrop of mountains.

Here is some of the feedback we got from the children that attended.

What activities did you do?

  • Paddle boarding, orienteering, hot pools, glacier boating, hiking and many more.

What were your highlights?

  • Definitely the glacier boating, the ice we saw on the boats has been there for hundreds of years.

What advice would you give students who are thinking about doing it next year?

  • Don't be afraid of going, you make a lot of new friends and get to experience new things. We highly recommend it.
