Costumes, make up, lights and an amazing crew of young performers resulted in a show to be remembered.

"Forward in Time," was performed five times during the last week of Term 3.  Audience numbers exceeded past numbers and the quality and variety of performances was commendable.  As a staff we are incredibly proud of what our students achieved.

For many students, performing on stage was a massive personal challenge but the success they were exposed to was enriching and a great confidence booster. Thank you to all students, staff and families.

During the holidays a team competed in the Canterbury Waterpolo Tournament. Congratulations to all involved.  It was a great lead into their training for the South Island Tournament in Dunedin later this month.

Meg Lancaster and Hannah Lemon represented Casebrook at the Rotary Speech finals last night. Hannah was placed second and Meg highly commended.   Congratulations to both of you.

Education Positioning System (EPS): Late in Term 3 students, staff and community members were asked to complete a questionnaire. Thank you very much to all who took the time to do this.  I appreciate a number of the questions were difficult to answer for people not directly involved in the school but this is done on purpose so responses from the three different groups can be compared. The results were very pleasing and have provided us with a number of ideas for the future.  Details can be found in a separate article.

Week 4 of this term we have an Education Review Office (ERO) visit.  We will be welcoming the reviewers to Casebrook at 8.50am on Monday 2 November with a Mihi Whakatau.  It would be great if you could join us.

Tomorrow we have our Casebrook Challenge celebration assembly.  You are very welcome to join us in the hall at 1.30pm to recognize the hard work put in by so many of our students.

Term 4 is another busy term.  Please refer to your term planner and remember we are here to answer any questions you may have.
