On Wednesday both Year 7 and Year 8 had their celebration assemblies where students were recognised for their contribution and service to our school community. Thank you very much to all who were able to attend.

Tonight is our Formal Prize Giving.  We ask that all Year 8 students attend in full uniform and due to space restrictions only Year 7 students who are receiving an award.

Friday is our day out to Hanmer.  Please ensure your child is at school by 7:45am and we will confirm our return time through an app alert.

As is often the case, at this time of year we are saying farewell to three of our staff members.  Mr Richard Larson leaves us to take up a full time position. We thank Richard for his contribution to our Specialist programme over the past three terms.

Miss Lydia Muschamp is moving to community work.  Thank you Lydia for your amazing work with our singing groups and your efforts in the classroom.  We wish you all the best.

Mr Sunia Halaifonua is leaving us to work closer to home.  I would like to thank Sunia for his work with our students and also for the developments he has made to our  Education Outside the Classroom programmes.  Thank you and all the best for the future.

We welcome five new teachers.  Mrs Rita Deavol to the Art Room, Mr Cameron Watts, Miss Shona McKenzie and Miss Anna Kerr into Year 7 and Miss Jacinta Clark into Year 8.

There are two additional teachers for 2018 as we have an new Year 7 class due to roll growth and Mr Will Stribling is in the office for the year as the Assistant Principal.

Thank you all for the fantastic community support we have benefited from during the year.  Our best wishes to the families that are leaving us and to those returning we look forward to working with you in the New Year.

Have a safe and happy Christmas.
