Year 7 Surfing

On Friday the 23rd of February Rooms 7 and 8 went on a surfing trip to Sumner Beach. They were taught by instructors from Learn to Surf. We interviewed some students from Room 7 and 8 about their experience and their answers are below.

Chloe

Q1. Did you enjoy surfing or bodyboarding better?

A1. Surfing.

Q2. What would you rate surfing out of 10? Why?

A2. 9, because it was really fun.

Q3. What would you rate bodyboarding out of 10? Why?

A3. 4, because it wasn’t really fun and I didn’t enjoy it.

Q4. Did you stand up on the surfboard?

A4. Yes.

Q5. What was the highlight of your day?

A5. Being with my friends.

A1. Surfing because I liked falling off.

A2. 10.

A3. 10.

A4. Yes.

A5. Surfing.

TA1. Amazing, they showed REP and I liked how everyone gave it a go.

Overall the students had a great day and are looking forward to the other adventure days, which are high ropes and the trek that took place on the Port Hills on Friday the 2nd of March 2018.
