On Thursday the 1st of March and Friday the 2nd of March, The Casebrook Boy's Cricket team competed in the National Primary School Cup cricket tournament.

We played at Hagley park. Our first matches were St Andrew’s College and Medbury. When we played STAC they got 173/2 off 20 overs we got 61 all out off 20 overs and on the Medbury game they got 157/3  off 20 overs we got 89/8 off 20 overs. Our team lost both of our games, it was a challenging day and we found the results hard to take but we didn't give up.

The next day we played Cashmere, we won, our team got 165/6 and used 20 overs. Cashmere got 19 all out and used 8 overs. Our last game we versed Hillview Christian School.  We made 101/9 off 20 overs and Hillview got 101/9.  On the last ball they got a four for the tie. Our team was so gutted but at least we didn't lose. We arrived back at school just as the bell rung to go home we were all tired but we still wanted to play more.  STAC and Breens made it to the final.
