Casebrook Kapa Haka Leaders 2018

We are proud to introduce our Kapa Haka student leaders - a role that comes with great mana in our school.

Jasmine Swindells

I love all the opportunities at Casebrook. Being a leader of Kapa haka is an honour and I can't wait for all the new experiences that will be coming our way. I am most passionate about the haka and my role in it because it is a chance to express my feelings and connections to my culture. I have enjoyed working with the new Year 7 group as they are keen and have a loud voice!

Hekeawai McDermott

I love the responsibility that rests upon my shoulders and knowing people are looking up to me is a great honour. I have really enjoyed getting to the new students and showing them the way. There are a lot of new faces that will help continue making Te Whānau o te ao an awesome group to be a part of.
