NZEI Te Riu Roa, the primary teachers’ union, has scheduled a series of paid union meetings. Casebrook teachers will attend a paid union meeting on Wednesday 3 April 2024.
This decision is deemed the least disruptive option for our school.
NZEI Te Riu Roa is entitled to call paid union meetings under the Employment Relations Act 2000. Given that all NZEI unionised teachers are expected to attend the meeting, we ask that you make alternative arrangements for your child from 1:00 pm onwards. If required, a small number of non-NZEI-union staff members will be available to supervise students at school, although there will be no formal instruction.
Please note that the canteen will only be open during interval, not at lunchtime. To arrange for your child's supervision at school, kindly complete the online form by Wednesday 27th March.
