Mathematics & Statistics

In Mathematics our students are grouped across year levels to address specific learning needs and abilities.  This enables our teachers to target and extend student knowledge across the mathematical strands of number and algebra, statistics, geometry and measurement. (including numeracy strategies) 

In Year 8 we integrate our specialist teaching team into our mathematics’ programme through our applied maths classes. This involves learning maths through practical activities. In term three our specialist teachers also work with a Cantamath extension group.
